Steel water constructions
Steel water constructions are an important element in the overall function of the future power plant. The field of application extends from the discharge slide gate, over safety podiums and railings to the prefabricated residual water discharge. In our workshop dams with other relevant components, various cabling installations and reinforcements are being manufactured. Besides, components are being divided, so that a quick on-site installation is possible. This reduces the manufacturing costs and on-site assembly time. All parts that come into contact with water or moisture are hot-dip galvanized, thus guaranteeing the longevity of our products.
Discharge slide gate
In our product range we can offer you our discharge slide gate, already installed and perfectly working in several plants. For the seal between slider and slide frame we use long-lasting and planed larch wood instead of Teflon. The advantage lies in the self-adaptability due to the slight swelling of the wood. This excludes the possibility, that stones which can clamp between the slide blade and the frame, will cause leaks. On request, the slider drive can be driven by a motor.

Our experience has shown that it takes a lot of effort to build a dam on site. In addition to weather events such as rain and flood, a steady presence of river water is also a working obstacle. That’s why we invented a screwable and patented system that allows us to move an intake structure in just one day and fill it with concrete. This ecological method protects nature and water including its associated ecosystem. Due to the short-term intervention in the watercourse, only minimal suspended particles are stirred up. These agitated suspended parts are calmed and settled in a pre-prepared settling tank, before the water is in cleaned state returned to the original stream. After installing the first element, the bypassed water is already running over the future slider opening.
Residual water discharge
Our residual water discharge is given on the one hand with a compulsory water content (minimum) via the fish ladder, or via a blind plate of the Coanda to the underwater. The additional dopant water quantity with a 20% share of the actual water supply is determined via height sensors and the turbine power by means of our nm3 (neromylos power plant control) and transmitted to the residual water unit, which is located at the congestion or retention wall. There, an electrically driven control valve works, which measures the actual flow through an IDM (inductive measuring device). These values are permanently compared with the calculated values of the power plant control and corrected, if necessary. The actual water values are then stored in the internal memory of nm3 for up to 3 years and can provided to the authorities at any time. Special requests, such as displaying actual residual water supply on flat monitor, can be easily met.
or also referred to as fish ladders, is also produced by us in the form of metal tanks with larch wood redirectors. Its design is based on calculations made by our fish biologist according to the actual standards and adapted to the constantly changing requirements of nature conservation authorities. We guarantee you a rapid, cost-effective, continuously improved, by ecologists and authorities tested and approved fish pass.
