neromylos is involved in the research, calculation, manufacture and commissioning of water turbines for the generation of electric power up to 10 MW (10 megawatts = 10,000 kW).
Due to our self-developed and in practice repeatedly tested calculation programs as well as the support of Professor K. Franjić (former professor for turbomachinery at the University in Zagreb / Croatia) we are able to adapt turbines and their calculation individually to the conditions of the customer in the shortest possible time. This guarantees that the turbine is designed for the most efficient operational use and that an optimum cost/benefit ratio is ensured in subsequent decades of use. The materials and structure of the turbines are designed to keep subsequent maintenance costs as low as possible. The availability of the turbine in daily use is also an essential prerequisite for the use of our turbines. For this reason, we pay attention to the use of as many standard parts as possible from well-known companies already during the design phase. This ensures rapid availability of components worldwide should the need arise. In addition, for an additional charge, components such as central lubrication units for the bearings, temperature queries, smooth running of the wheel and various other parameters can be permanently monitored via the power plant control system, recorded and, if necessary, an upcoming problem sent to the customer in advance by SMS. All turbines worldwide are integrated into our data center. This means that we also have a permanent view of the customer's turbine and can see when the next maintenance is due or, for example, when a bearing needs to be replaced. By using this system and standard components that are as similar as possible, we are able to carry out repairs on the turbine within a very short time. See our Youtube video
In addition, our turbines are checked for wear during every maintenance. Through this procedure, we have now reached a quality standard with which our turbines have an availability of almost 100%. With proper maintenance, desanding of the engine water according to our specifications and lubrication of the turbine, operating times of up to 80 years can be expected from today's perspective. Only the bearings have to be replaced after 50,000 operating hours.
It is important for us to emphasize that our turbines are designed 3-dimensionally in-house on state-of-the-art computer equipment, the design parts are converted by means of CAM program and manufactured on our CNC machines with an accuracy of up to 0.002 mm. Only for the balancing of the rotor we need external help.
This perfection in the entire manufacturing process leads to the result that the customer receives a smooth-running, low-vibration and low-noise turbine (e.g. Pelton turbine 6-nozzle 850kW; noise 79dB at full operation at a distance of 1 meter from the turbine; Euro coin remains on nozzle outer diameter without movement).
